Chris and I are Fasting Together

We are on Day 4 of our Fast

On Monday of this week, I told you guys in a blog post entitled My Amazing Son that my son Chris had started fasting. Well, at the time I am writing this we’ve already finished day three, and by the time you read this, we will be more than halfway through day four of our fast.

Things are really going well for both Chris and myself. We are both feeling really good, and enjoying our fast together.

In fact, while we were walking yesterday, we hatched a little plan together. We decided that every week we will do five days of fasting followed by one meal, followed by another five days of fasting.

At the end of the fifth day, the time for fasting will be finished, and it will be time for feasting. Yes, we are going to plan a special meal after every five days of fasting!

So, that pretty much spells it out. Now you know how we are going to celebrate our successful five days fast. Of course, as you know, I have done a lot of fasting over the past year, but this is Chris’s first time to do an extended fast. I am so proud of his success so far, and I know that he will make it until the end of day five. The reason that I know is that he keeps telling me that he can make it, and I believe.
