When I was in the US, I stayed in Vancouver for about two to three weeks then I moved to Memphis and stayed with some friends of my Parents. They were really nice and generous people and they were also into fitness stuff so they have some equipment at home like Weights, Dumbbells, a Treadmill, and other stuff. So when I was staying in Memphis, I used to work out a lot, like six to seven times a week and sometimes I would work out twice a day when I did not have anything to do. The kinds of workout that I did was Bench Press (Incline Bench Press and Flat Bench Press) Squats, Walking Lunges, Planking, and many others. I would also run on the treadmill for forty minutes to an hour depending on how tired I was. I stayed there for about a month and a half so based on the workout that I was doing, I lost a lot of fat and gained a lot of muscle. I was about 265 lbs (120 Kg) when I got to Memphis and when I left I was about 243 lbs (110 Kg)
After staying in Memphis I went back to Vancouver to stay with my Grandmother and help her move to her new house. She does not really have any equipment that I could use to workout so I was not really able to work out while I was staying with her. While we were moving, we never really had time to pass by the stores and buy some groceries because of how busy we were. All we had were cereal, bread and some other food that I could not eat while I was in ketosis. I had no other choice but to eat those and stop being in ketosis for a couple of days. I gained a lot of weight during that time. I stayed there for about two to three weeks before my Brother Aaron and I went back to the Philippines.
Before my Mom and I went to the US I used to play a lot of basketball and I never really got to play while we were staying there. So when we got back to the Philippines I started playing basketball again and I noticed that whenever I play and run I would have problems with my breathing. Whenever I breathe while running it’s like I’m choking. I think that I’m having this problem because I am not used to playing anymore. I used to have a problem similar to this one about two years ago. I went to the Doctor and the Doctor said that it was Nasal Congestion. It went away after a few weeks. I am not sure if this is the same problem as the one I had two years ago. For the past few weeks, I have been playing basketball every day so I hope that this breathing problem goes away soon. If it does not, I might have to get it checked out again like last time.
