My Dad just recently got a set of dumbbells that he bought online on Lazada. It was a York Dumbbell Set (30 Kg). So today and gonna be sharing with you guys what exercise you can do at home with a set of dumbbells. I usually just look up videos on youtube for the workouts that I do. The workouts that you do depend on what part of the body you are trying to build muscle on. You should keep it balanced as much as possible cause it would not look good if you just build muscle on one part of your body. For example, you should not just focus on your arms, you should also build muscle on your legs, chest and other areas. People usually have schedules for what part of the body to focus on. They call these leg days, arm days, chest days and many more. If you are trying to build muscle in your arms, you should not only focus on your bicep, but you should also build muscle on your triceps.
There are a few fitness YouTubers that I like watching and I also do some of the workouts or exercises that they do. Some of these YouTubers are Tyrone Magnus, TheZeusFitness, ObesetoBeast, Elliott Hulse’s Strength Camp, HASfit and many more. Their videos have helped me so much because I learn a lot every time I watch. I also love and enjoy watching. You guys should definitely check their channels out.
The video above was the first one that I watched. I would suggest that you guys try that if you are new to working out. All you need is a pair of dumbbells. The guy in the video suggests that for males, you should use a 5 to 10 lbs dumbbell and for females, you should use a 3 to 8 lbs dumbbell but you could always go higher or lower if you want.
There is this one YouTuber that I also really like watching. If you are doing the ketogenic diet and fasting like my Dad and me, you should definitely check this guy out (Tyrone Magnus). All his videos are not really focused on fitness related stuff but he has a lot of videos talking about what exercises you should do, how long you should exercise, diets you should try out and much other stuff.
Another YouTuber that you should check is ObesetoBeast. His name is John David Glaude and he lost 160 pounds. He posts a lot of videos like videos of him working out and the food that he eats. Here are some of his videos Beginner Upper Body Workout, Chest and Shoulder Workout and Leg Workout. He was on The Ellen Show (Here is the Video). When I saw that video, it really inspired me and it helped me a lot. Sometimes whenever I feel unmotivated, I would go back to that video and it would push me to workout again. Being motivated is also an important factor when you work out. It helps you work out more and it just keeps you going.
