All of my recent articles have been about stupid things I have done in regards to my health. How about if we take a U-turn now? Let’s talk about smart things that I have done that have really improved my health.
I’m going to start out with my first smart move as being “blowing off the negative Nellies”.
There are a lot of people in life who are very negative, and they will do everything they can to spread their negativity to as many people as possible.
If you start doing something that works for you, they will find all kinds of reasons why you are not doing the right thing.
Over the years, I tried a lot of different health changes, most of which did not work for me. Then, when you quit doing that thing that has not worked, a lot of people will criticize you because you did not have enough willpower to hang in there. Well, no, that is not necessarily the case, but that is what they will tell you. Maybe you had the willpower, but why keep doing something that does not help, that in itself would be stupid.
Then, when you do find something that works well, those negative Nellies will tell you, “what you are doing is stupid”, “what you are doing will kill you”, or something like that. If you are getting good results, keep going! Don’t listen to those negative people who are only out to drag you down to the place where they live. Who needs that? I know that I don’t.
Keep trying things until you find something that works for you. I know what works for me, but what works for you may be different. We are all different people, and you have to find the right thing for you. When you find something in it works, I promise that a lot of negative people are going to try to pull you down. Don’t listen. In fact, stop hanging out with those people. They are only trying to make you as miserable as they already are.
In fact, if you are experiencing this problem, it is probably time to start finding a different group of friends, people who are positive and will help you because you are their friend.
